Thanks mom for the updates sorry I have been in Firenze and Bolgna the
past two days! I probably will not be getting transfered for 2-3 more
months so I will be here in Ravenna for awhile longer but I love it! I got a Saint Patricks Day Package from you and I love it!
Thank you so much its great! Things are going great here and I am
enjoying everyday of my time here! Thanks for all that you do and
next week my P-day will probably be on Tuesday or Friday I will be
going to Milan for New missionary training. My bike is doing fine I
just have to be carefull with it. Did anyone get their mission call?
Sorry my notes are short sometimes we have to go fast because we pay
for internet. .50€ for every 15 minutes thanks for everything! Love
you and glad you're staying in shape! It's funny when we go to
members they want to see what my family looks like and see it
everytime they're like Mamma Mia tua madre é bella haha everytime so
funny they think Daniels older everytime too so annoying they say
Hailey and Emmy are super beautiful too haha funny stuff. Love you!

These past few weeks have been pretty crazy we've had alot going on
with companion exchanges and zone conference. For conference we went
to Firenze and let me just tell you the train ride there was
incredible really. I saw Italy's green rolling hills and it was so
beautiful. We had zone conference and there we had Steven Allen from
the 70 talk to us! Before he started talking to us we got to shake
his hand and he asked where we were from and I found out he used to be
a mission president from Mesa Az. He talked to us how to be better
missionaries and told us about staying obedient and told us to
not deviate from the course! We had a great zone conference and then
we went to Bologna right after for p-day! It the morning the
missionaries in Bologna had this new convert who knew Muai thai a type
of fighting. This guy was from the Philippines and was crazy. So we
went to the church and he showed us how to become Muai thai masters!
It was so funny like Karate Kid! But then we got to look around
Bologna we went to the two towers in the middle of the city and at the
top we could see the whole city it was beautiful! Bologna was great!
As for the work it's going great we have investigators and still 2
baptisms for the 7th of April! Peter and Mark are doing great and we
are looking forward to their baptism! I love serving the people here!
Thanks for all the prayers and thoughts I love you all! -Anziano

Salve!
This week flew by! The work has been going great, I don't know if
I've already metioned this but we will have a baptism April 7 for
Peter and Mark! Peter is about 23 years old and is a refugee from
Nigeria and his nephew Mark is 11 years old and they both are great!
They we a referral from a member in Sardegna. Peters brother is a
member there and called us to talk to Peter about our church. Peter
lives in a refugee home and we had a hard time finding it but thanks
to our Branch president we found it! It's funny because Mark just
calls me American and he loves America they both are great! This week
the work has really picked up with teaching and finding new
investigators! What I've learned is the importance of member
missionaries. When I first got here I did not like the idea of
involving members in our lessons I thought that we could take care of
it ourselves but this last week we have really involved the members
here! For example we had a lesson with one of our investigators
Franceso and we brought in a member who had served a mission to help
us teach the Plan of Salvation! For me this is one of the harder
lessons especially in Italian but it was great to have a member there!
During the lesson our investigator asked him, <<what made you deside
to be a member?>> which was great and after the member left Francesco
told us that he was super impressed with him! As the prophets and
apostles have said members are key to helping spread the gospel to the
world! Things in Italy are going great I love everything the people,
the food, and the culture! Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers!
